wonderful read aloud book Feb 1, 2008
I love this book for the point it makes and the simple yet funny way it does so. My only wish is that it could be reissued with an update as many of the cultural references are outdated and have to be explained before children can understand the meaning or humor. It is a sweet classic though.
Kind of out of date. Sep 28, 2007
This book needs to be updated! It is a good book and good idea, but it needs references to things that kids of today can understand.
kinda cute Apr 1, 2007
Great for those under 10; my kids think it's funny and keep telling me, "I'll never do that". Yeah, right. :)
NOT JUST FOR KIDS!! Feb 13, 2007
I purchased several children's books during this site's buy 3 get one free deal to send to my Grandson through out the year. When they arrived I started to thumb through them but had to stop because I ( age 56)found myself reading these books and enjoyed all of them throughly!! As did my husband ( age 68). It is a fun book that also teaches a few lessons. A wonderful book for reading to your youngster.
Alex, Used to Be Rich Jan 19, 2007
Old but still appropriate and gets message across..Author should 'update' the examples to make more 2000 oriented.
