This family web site is a product of Thomas Nathan Blubaugh, the oldest son of Vincent Paul Blubaugh and Sylvia Rachael Hertzfield. I am in the process of building a legacy to leave those following in my footsteps. This is a place of remembrance of my ancestors, siblings, children, grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins. This is a gallery of family pictures and information I want to share with family who are interested in those who came before us providing the path on which we travel and those who are traveling behind us. It has not been an easy process of gathering information about my ancestors nor has it been easy putting all the information on this site. I started gathering the information for myself, but then began thinking of my children and grandchildren. They deserve to know who their ancestors were and the part they have played in their existence. As you travel through the site you will find many links. These are characterized with an underline and different color. If you move your cursor across the underlined word a little hand will display and the word will change color showing you it is a live link. You can click on the word and it will reveal information. You will not leave the site. When you are finished viewing the page you can simply click on the highlighted arrow at the top left of the page and you will be returned to where you were. The Goldenstern and Hertzfield ancestors pertain to my mother's (Sylvia) family. If you have any family knowledge that should be on the site please email me the information and I will put it on the site. I will be grateful for any contributions. I would like this site to be as thorough as possible. My sons, Donald Vincent Blubaugh and John David Blubaugh Raney, are the 18th generation, which covers 159 years.
By my calculations there are 110 children born to the men and their wives in my direct lineage, including my two sons. Reading the history in the various linked pages will give you the entire picture. It is an amazing history! |
